Everything in “Game of Thrones” these past seven seasons led us to these cataclysmic 80 minutes, the sum total of all our fears and theories. A shrug wouldn’t do at all, but only a physical, convulsive reflex — our own yawp into the night, as if to say that TV at its wild, most ambitious best really can make dreams come true.
Let’s start with the positives. Episodes 1-4 are largely excellent, and the final show is an entertaining feature-length end to the season, perfectly setting the stage for the finale in late 2018.

In fact, she often burns innocent to convey some kind of fearful admiration to people. Her obsession of making Jon "bend the knee" was kinda worrying. Just like how she threatened her advisors, even though they precisely spend most of the time couching for the innocents. I agree her descent was too quick.
