I have had my 2006 focus 2 litre petrol tested came back with PZ008 fault code, the person what tested says it is on intake manifold and said it would be quite expensive to repair, anyone else have any experience of the fault. I don't think PZ008 is a real/valid ODB code, P=Powertrain, but the 2nd character is usually a 0 or a 1 The P0400 fault is usually due to a 'sticky' EGR valve. When he said he checked the EGR it may have seemed ok, but unless the valve can be opened smoothly with no sticking (by pressing on top of it) then it can lead to the EML light and P0400 code as the valve has either stuck open or shut.

What the P2007 code means. The P2007 code means the intake manifold runner is stuck closed for bank 2. The ECU controls how much to open or close the intake manifold runner flaps and when bank 2 is stuck open the P2007 code is set. This triggers a Check Engine Light to be displayed on the dashboard and a failsafe mode to be enabled.
